This restaurant serves is very wonderful and very clean，I really like the sweet and sour chicken and Mongolian beef ， it's really delicious

Food service was very fast, food was hot and staff were attentive. They have a range of beverages and different dishes in each category. The restaurant wasn't too loud or too quiet either.

We recently were in town a few days and found this small but very delicious place for authentic Chinese food. Hands down the best Chinese food restaurant our family has ever had! Everything from the soup to the rice and main dishes are served in large portions so it's a family style experience. One of the owners served us and we had a nice chat with her, she told us how her and her husband started the restaurant. It was such a good ambience, felt like we were having dinner at home with a great chef cooking for us. We're only sad we can't come eat every week because we live in LA. Next time we're in town this will be a must stop for us.

Authentic Chinese food in Santa Cruz (which is hard to come by) in a cozy family-run place. I initially heard about Shun Feng from asking folks I know who moved to Santa Cruz from China about their favorite restaurant in town - and they all named Shun Feng. They have an extensive Chinese menu with many dishes that are hard to find in Santa Cruz. The proprietor , Jessie, is a sweetheart (tbough during the school year she probably doesn't have much time to chat as it's a popular place with students from China and Taiwan).

This is by far the best Chinese restaurant in Santa Cruz! We have tried them all. You can ask for authentic Chinese food if that floats your boat. Customer service is on point! We go there enough that she knows exactly what we want. D-2 and D-3 with a Diet Coke.

this place used to be my go to back in my college days and i still crave it even long after graduating. ever since my last visit, the flavor hasn't been as prominent. my main reason for visiting shun feng has always been for the boiling fish but this time the flavor was lacking... it looks like they barely add any pepercorn so the mala taste is unnoticeable the rest of the dish is ok too- not as good as i remember it. green beans were good but lacked spiciness. stir fry pork belly is still just as good as i remember overall this place is still delicious but i was disappointed in the lack of mala flavor of the boiling fish

We love Shun Feng, very authentic & delicious! This is our favorite Chinese restaurant in Santa Cruz, been coming here for years! We love the 水煮魚，麻婆豆腐。most places only have 辣 spiciness but here also has 麻，so we love it here! My daughter doesn't like spicy food but the 玉子豆腐蝦 really wins her heart! Enjoy! You will like their food here!

Been here a couple years ago and remembered it was good so thought I would try it again. At first some of the reviews scared me but it was better than I thought it would be. Got here a lil late, around 9pm, but the staff was polite and let us know when their last call would be and still seated us. The place was nicely decorated and calm. Got the classic broiled fish, green beans with shredded pork, twice cooked pork, and house fried rice. Everything was really flavorful! Only downside was that the fried rice portion was a bit small.
